Is my site well-optimized?

The best way to check if your site is optimized for speed is by running a test using Google PageSpeed Insights or Google Lighthouse. These tools analyze your website’s performance and suggest improvements.

How long it takes to optimize a website based on Page Speed Insight

The time required for optimization depends on several factors, including website size, complexity, identified issues, and the level of optimization needed.

Can the website maintain this score over time?

This depends on how often new modules are installed or modifications are made. Website optimization is an ongoing process, not a one-time fix. Regularly monitoring performance, implementing best practices, and staying updated with the latest techniques help maintain speed. However, maintaining the site is more cost-effective than re-optimizing from scratch.

Frequently Asked Questions related to the Page Speed Optimization that we offer:

Yes, we provide a detailed report based on Google PageSpeed Insights and Google Lighthouse. It includes all elements to be improved for the highest possible score on both mobile and desktop. The report will also specify the cost of optimization.

Generally, site optimization takes 8 to 10 working days. If additional configurations are needed (e.g., for WebP image generation), the process may take longer. We’ll keep you informed throughout the process.

We specialize in PrestaShop optimization and have successfully optimized many live sites without causing functionality issues. If needed, we can optimize your development site, but since manual execution is required for each site, the cost may be higher.

The payment is divided into two parts:

  1. The first half is paid before optimization begins.
  2. After 8-10 working days, once optimization is complete, we’ll send you the final report and invoice for the second half.

To optimize your site, we require Back Office and FTP access. If you use Cloudflare, access is also needed, as some changes won’t take effect until the cache is cleared.

Whatever theme you are currently using, we can optimize it to reach the desired score. Some themes are already optimized; in these cases, the work process does not require so much time, but there are also themes that do not take into account even the most common optimization practice; in these cases, the optimization can take even more than 35 hours.

We understand the importance of transparency and communication in this field, which is why we use the Monday system. When the collaboration begins, we will send you an invitation to this system, where you will be able to track the work done on the optimization points, the working time on each side, and if you have any questions or observations, you can quickly write a message, which we will respond as soon as possible.

Yes, once the optimization is complete, we send you a report with scores for the index, category, and product pages.

We do not deal with server configurations as a PrestaShop agency. However, we had knowledge in this area as well, and if we find server problems during the optimization, we will notify you so that you may take the required actions and contact your hosting provider to remedy the problems.

We guarantee a minimum score of 80 for mobile and 90 for desktop after optimization. If we fail to reach this, we’ll refund your payment.

Maintaining a high score depends on new module installations and site changes. Since website optimization is continuous, regular performance checks and updates are required. Maintaining the site is more cost-effective than re-optimizing it later.

General Frequently Asked Questions related to Page Speed Optimization and Google Core Web Vitals score improvement:

Page speed should be a priority for everyone, as it impacts the usability, search engine rankings, and overall performance of a website. Page speed is a measure of how quickly a webpage loads and responds to user interaction. A faster website can lead to increased user satisfaction and engagement, improved search engine rankings, and ultimately more conversions and revenue. Additionally, page speed is an important factor for user experience and online success, as slow-loading websites will discourage users from engaging with the site and may negatively affect search engine rankings. Therefore, optimizing page speed is essential for website success.

The top tools are:

  • Google PageSpeed Insights (performance scores and recommendations)
  • Pingdom Website Speed Test (detailed performance reports)
  • GTmetrix (in-depth page loading analysis and optimization tips)

Here are some methods to optimize a PrestaShop site:

  • Optimize images (correct file formats and compression)
  • Set up caching (reduce server requests)
  • Minify HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
  • Use asynchronous loading (for large files and resources)
  • Reduce plugins and third-party scripts
  • Leverage browser caching

Page speed optimization can be challenging, depending on the complexity and size of a website. The process involves adjusting the website’s code, structure, and files, while also considering external factors such as server response time, browser caching policies, and network latency. Additionally, optimizing for speed often requires testing and fine-tuning to achieve the desired performance.

Optimizing Core Web Vitals offers several benefits, including better user experience, faster page loading, and higher search rankings. A well-optimized site keeps visitors engaged longer, increasing the chances of purchases or interactions. Faster load times reduce bounce rates, as users are more likely to stay on a page that loads quickly. Additionally, search engines favor websites with strong user experience signals, leading to higher rankings and increased organic traffic. By improving Core Web Vitals, you enhance both usability and site performance.

Mobile devices improve website competitiveness by enhancing user experience, response times, and search engine rankings. A mobile-friendly website ensures easy access and navigation on any device, including smartphones and tablets. Since Google prioritizes mobile-optimized sites, ensuring mobile compatibility can boost search rankings and visibility. Additionally, a fast and accessible mobile site enhances user satisfaction, which can lead to increased traffic and conversions.

Failing to optimize for mobile can result in poor user experience, fewer visitors, and shorter session durations. This can lead to lower search rankings, reduced conversions, and higher bounce rates. Additionally, users may struggle to access your website properly on mobile devices, limiting potential sales and damaging brand visibility. A non-optimized mobile experience could mean fewer customer interactions and lost revenue opportunities.

Both page speed optimization and Core Web Vitals optimization are essential for improving user experience. Page speed optimization focuses on reducing load times and improving performance, while Core Web Vitals optimization ensures a stable, interactive, and user-friendly browsing experience. Since both contribute to website efficiency and search rankings, they should be optimized together for the best results.

Yes, optimizing Core Web Vitals directly improves page speed, responsiveness, and stability. A well-optimized site loads faster and offers a smoother user experience, reducing delays and bounce rates. Google considers speed an important ranking factor, meaning better Core Web Vitals scores can enhance SEO and overall performance.
